Under Desert Sun is a short film directed by Kevin Voegtlin. It journals the trials and successes of two pro surfers, Kepa Acres and Dane Gudauskas, while they explore remote waves in Angola.

I was so excited when Kevin called to ask if I would edit the film and trailer, but I was honored when he gave me an Associate Director credit at the end of our process. The film was released on SurferMag.com. The passion that Kevin, Dane and Kepa all have for surfing and adventure made this project very special for everyone involved. I am proud to have helped bring their story to an audience that appreciates their talents and their alternative spirits.

Since the film’s debut, it has been traveling the world and playing at film festivals. UDS even snaged the Viewers Choice Award at the London Surf Film Festival. Congrats to the team!
